Research Tailored to Your Requirements

Allow me to introduce myself.  I am Sue Adams, the lead researcher at Family Folk.

I offer bespoke family history research services, tailored to your questions, priorities and budget.

As I am based in Thetford, Norfolk, I conduct research mainly in England, but I also undertake research throughout the British Isles.

I graduated with a Masters degree in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde in 2012.   Consequently, I am an experienced researcher with knowledge of a broad range of genealogical topics and sources.  My specialist knowledge includes English manorial records, land ownership, and using information technology for genealogy.

I am a member of the Register of Qualified Genealogists (RQG), the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (AGRA), and the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG).  Membership of RQG and AGRA requires the demonstration of genealogical knowledge and skills.  I abide by the Codes of Ethics of all three professional bodies.

After a free, no-obligation consultation in which we agree your research questions and priorities, you will set the budget.
